My Story

picture of ben weltman

Since 2010 I've been working as a front end developer & consultant providing web development, design, support & maintenance, amongst other services, for a variety of clients in different industries around the world.

In 2012 I began working full time as web developer for dermalogica uk, then 6 and a half years later (in 2019) I was offered the opportunity to join intelliflo, a fantastic financial services software development (SaaS) company. I've learnt a lot about building websites in that time, and even more so in the last few years - as a developer, there's nothing quite like working for a proper software development company. Working as a developer is a never ending learning experience!

Some of the projects I've worked on throughout my career have given me experience working on large scale websites, web services, APIs and applications, including hybrid and progressive web apps. Whilst I have experience with full stack development, it's not my speciality nor my passion, I love front end development! I find it fascinating and thoroughly enjoy responsive web design, creating SASS loops, learning the latest css specifications, figuring out how to change a site's colours with javascript and so on.

I'm always interested in new projects and ideas, so if you're looking for a new website, or just some advice please contact me.
